About MultiBank Group

Founded in 2005 in California and now headquartered in Dubai, MultiBank Group has grown into one of the world’s largest financial derivatives institutions. With 25+ global offices, a paid-up capital of over USD 322 million, and regulation from 17+ financial authorities, we serve over 2 million clients across 100 countries — powering a daily trading volume exceeding US$18 billion.

As we continue expanding globally, our infrastructure must deliver maximum reliability, performance, and security. We’re investing in world-class networking capabilities across all offices — including our Dubai HQ — featuring high-availability core switching, advanced Wi-Fi coverage, and resilient UPS systems.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to own, manage, and evolve MultiBank Group’s global office network infrastructure. This is a hands-on, critical role responsible for the ongoing operation, optimization, and monitoring of all network and connectivity systems — including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, UPS, telco links, and backbone infrastructure.

You will be the technical authority for our upgraded Sigma-designed network, ensuring seamless operations across multiple floors, high-availability switching, enterprise-grade wireless coverage, and continuous uptime of core business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Operations & Architecture
  • Oversee daily operations of the corporate network across all HQ floors (core, access, Wi-Fi, and UPS systems).
  • Manage Cisco Catalyst Core (C9300X) and Access Switches (C9200L) architecture, ensuring redundancy and optimized traffic flow.
  • Maintain Meraki/Cisco wireless infrastructure, ensuring signal coverage as per the -65dBm design heatmap for all critical areas.
  • Supervise UPS health and performance (1KVA and 3KVA systems), ensuring full power backup integrity and SNMP alerting.
  • Design and implement network topology changes for scalability and performance optimization.

Monitoring & Automation

  • Deploy and maintain advanced monitoring systems for network, telco, Wi-Fi, and UPS components (e.g., SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, or PRTG).
  • Establish dashboards for real-time visibility, alerting, and SLA compliance with telcos and vendors.
  • Integrate monitoring into centralized NOC dashboards and automate responses for recurring faults or outages.
  • Conduct proactive performance tuning and root cause analysis for latency, jitter, or packet loss incidents.

Connectivity & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for telco providers, ensuring redundancy, SLAs, and capacity scaling.
  • Track link utilization, carrier failover performance, and manage network contracts and escalations.
  • Coordinate with vendors (e.g., Sigma Technologies, Cisco, Fortinet) for upgrades, patches, and issue resolution.

Resilience & Security

  • Maintain configuration backups and failover designs for core and distribution layers.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce network segmentation, NAC, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Implement and test network DR and failover procedures regularly.
  • Enforce change control and documentation standards aligned with PMI-based project methodology.

Continuous Improvement

  • Own the network roadmap — scaling bandwidth, Wi-Fi coverage, and power backup as business demand grows.
  • Conduct quarterly capacity planning and risk reviews.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior network engineers and support teams.

Technical Profile

  • Required Knowledge and Experience
  • 7+ years in enterprise-level network engineering, ideally within financial or trading environments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of:
  • Switching & Routing: Cisco Catalyst 9300/9200 series, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP
  • Wireless: Cisco Meraki / Catalyst Wi-Fi 6 solutions and RF optimization
  • Network Monitoring: SolarWinds, PRTG, ThousandEyes, Cisco DNA Center
  • UPS Monitoring: SNMP, PowerON, or equivalent tools for power telemetry
  • Firewalls: Fortinet / Cisco ASA / Palo Alto
  • WAN & Telcos: MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and carrier management
  • Proven experience in structured cabling projects and network refresh rollouts.
  • Scripting/automation experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for configuration management or monitoring integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and ISO 27001 operational standards.

Desirable Certifications

  • Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center)
  • Fortinet NSE4+
  • Aruba or Meraki Wireless Specialist
  • CompTIA Network+ / ITIL Foundation
  • Familiarity with project management or service delivery frameworks (PMI, Agile)

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage complex, multi-site infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for executive reporting.
  • Works effectively across IT, Cybersecurity, and Facilities teams.
  • Driven to uphold uptime, resilience, and operational excellence at all times.

Our Recruitment Philosophy

We seek professionals who combine technical depth with operational maturity — engineers who thrive in mission-critical environments where uptime, performance, and precision are paramount.

The ideal candidate is a calm operator under pressure, passionate about network reliability, and driven by continuous improvement.
